A Hundredfold guide, unranked
Hundredfold sells an AI audit for $2,500–$5,000. This guide, written by our two Managing Partners, Arun Agrahri and Cédric Giorgi, compares twelve other firms that sell AI advice, training or builds to companies in France, and ranks none of them. Each was read on its own pages on 30 September 2026, and we sit in the table like the rest, gaps showing.
To choose, ask five things. What does the firm sell: training, an audit or a build? Does it publish a price? Who does the work? Who pays, and what does a free or funded offer leave out? What do you keep if you stop?
Each cell comes from the firm's own pages, linked in the table. Where a page prints no figure, the cell says so.
The first call is free. You sign nothing to have it.
An agency builds, an advisory firm looks at how you work and writes a plan, and a training body teaches your people. Many firms sell all three, so ask which one you are paying for.
In 2025, 17 percent of small and 30 percent of medium-sized enterprises in the EU used AI. Among those that had considered it, 71 percent named a lack of relevant expertise as a barrier (Eurostat, December 2025).
Ask them in this order. A firm that answers all five in writing is easier to compare than one that answers on a call.
Of the twelve, only AY Automate prints an advisory price, and it appears only in the code of its FAQ page, not on screen. StackEasy offers a free first analysis and Genial a free AI audit. Everyone else quotes after a call. Ask for the number in writing, then compare like with like.
A free or funded diagnostic is worth taking if you qualify. Ask what it is scoped to, how many days it covers and what it ends in. Bpifrance's Diag Data IA (a diagnostic the State part-pays), for example, is eight days of an approved expert and ends in a roadmap, not in a build.
Published lengths run from 5 days to 3 months. Ask for the thing you receive to be named as an object: a list, a roadmap, a costed plan, a working tool.
Ask to meet the person who does the work, and for one client of your size and trade you can phone. Proof in this field is logos, counts, anonymised percentages and a few named clients. A phone call beats all four.
Ask who owns what gets built, what you can hand to another supplier, and what is refunded if the work finds nothing. Get it in writing before the first invoice.
Whoever builds it, you stay responsible for your company's data and for how your staff use AI. Three questions cover most of it.
Under Article 28 of the GDPR, a supplier that handles personal data for you needs a contract that says where it is processed and who else touches it. The CNIL adds that you should check whether the provider running the system can reuse your data.
Article 4 of the EU AI Act asks any company that uses AI to take measures so its staff understand what they are using. It has applied since February 2025 and has no exemption for small companies. A firm that hands over a report leaves that duty with you.
Diag Data IA is delivered only by an expert Bpifrance has approved. Training paid by an OPCO (the body that manages training money for your industry) needs a provider certified Qualiopi, the State's quality label for training. Ask for the proof and check it on the public register.
Twelve firms and us, in alphabetical order. Each cell comes from the firm's own pages, read on 30 September 2026, with the pages linked in the first column.

The order is alphabetical, not a ranking. A count or a result in the last column is the firm's own claim, not something we checked. We are in the table on the same terms, and we trail in two columns: we mention no public funding, and we have no client case to show yet.
Most firms do not say. Only AY Automate prints an advisory price, StackEasy and Genial offer a free first look, and we print ours: $2,500–$5,000, agreed before any work starts.
Everyone else quotes after a call. Ask for the figure in writing before you spend an hour on a proposal, and ask what it covers.
What our audit covers, day by dayIf you qualify for a public scheme, look at it first, then compare it with what a paid audit adds. Two schemes matter to a company your size.
Diag Data IA: the State pays 40 percent of a quote capped at €10,000 excl. tax, which leaves €6,000 excl. tax to pay. It covers eight days of an approved expert over three months, for independent companies of 10 to 2,000 staff and at least €1 million in revenue, and it ends in a roadmap. Read on 30 September 2026.
Clic&Tech: an OPCO 2i scheme for companies under 250 staff attached to its branches. The firm that does the work comes from the providers OPCO 2i selected in its call for tenders. A firm is one of the selected providers, never the only one. The terms are relayed on Team RH Occitanie; OPCO 2i sends you to an adviser for the funding study.
Qualiopi certifies a training process. It says nothing about the quality of advice, and it is what lets training be paid from OPCO money. A firm can hold it for its courses and sell an audit the certificate does not cover.
To find a provider through official channels, France Num lists experts who committed to a free first meeting. On 30 September 2026, 985 of them listed AI among their topics. A listing shows the firm signed up, not that it is good.
What a funded route leaves out: it stops where its days stop, and building is quoted separately. Our audit ends in a costed written plan and costs nothing if it finds nothing worth building. If a funded diagnostic is enough for where you are, take it. A free audit, or this one
Often, depending on what you are buying.
Start with the schemes above, or with StackEasy's free first analysis, which costs you nothing.
Choose a training body that holds Qualiopi. We do not sell training.
JustAI says it runs its own servers in France and Europe. We do not sell hosting.
AI Partners, Artefact and Diametral describe that scale. We are two founders.
Tiple says your team runs it alone at the end. Ask every firm for that, us included.
That is what we sell, from the two people who do the work.
There is no single best, and no official ranking exists. Most lists that rank firms are written by firms that put themselves first. Read the table by column and choose on what you are buying: training, a diagnostic or a build.
Ask five things. What does it sell? Does it publish a price? Who does the work? Who pays, and what does a free or funded offer leave out? What do you keep if you stop? The questions are above, with what each firm publishes.
An agency builds. A consultancy studies how you work and writes a plan. An IT services firm supplies people to run or extend your systems. Many do more than one, so ask which one you are paying for on the first invoice.
Deloitte, PwC, EY and KPMG are the four big consulting firms. We did not read them for the table, which covers firms whose AI offer speaks to mid-sized companies, plus two that address large groups. At your size the useful question is who will do the work and how much of their time you get.
You should. Ask for it in the contract: the code, the documents and the data, and what you can hand to another supplier. You get our written plan whether you build with us or not, and you own what we build.
Not for the first step, which is a few conversations and access to your documents. A firm on site helps when the work happens on your premises, so ask where the people who do it will be. When a build starts, one of us works alongside your team on the ground.
From $2.5K, fixed scope, half of it off the build if you go ahead within 30 days, and the first call is free. You'll know what to build, in what order, and what it gives back, before you commit to building it.
Tell us the one process that costs you most. One of us reads every application and answers it with a name.
We invoice in US dollars from Sena Technologies, Inc.; the French page shows the same amounts in euros.
We reply within two business days, always with a name. No sequence, no chasing.
